Jongnamsan, where wonderworking fountain water gushes out plenty, is the mountain at the back of Songgwangsa locae froted in north east of Jeonju. The name of Jongnamsan has comm an anecdote that Saint (Buddhist priest) Douise onsa who established Songgwangsa there where he had found clean and plenty of wonderworking fountain water gushing out at Jongnamsan on his tour for looking for a place for a temple heading to south stopped going south.

Going up the mountain from behind Songgwangsa through strange rocks and bizarre stones and a thick thicket of assorted trees leads one to the ridge of jongnamsan 617m high above the sea level, and on the way there, there is Pen Asis Paper Korea Forest Control office, where Seokgansu (water gushing out between rocks) is famous as mineral water of mineral water.

And going up along the northern ridgeline leads you to the top of Seobangsan. At the top of Seobangsan, there is a heliport, in the east Unjangsan, Yeonseoksan, Wibongsan,
in the south Jeongnamsan, and in the west the town of Bongdong, Samnye, the training field of reserved force, Ganjungje, Yanghwaje, and even the west coast on a fine day may be view.
Halfway up the hill of south west Jongnamsan lies a small temple, Sinwonsa, and lies 'Suyangsan Yaksa Yurae Samjonbul (three Buddha of Bhaisajyaguru) built in Oct.

1990 on the back wall. Looking up the hillside from the second juveniles' training field on the skirt of the mountain, Sinwonsa have an appearance of an infant nestling in its mother's breast.
